It's a must, if a hammer is in your hand, finger's have to be hit. Then the swearing start's & the bit your working on get's frightened & come's off.

yea im glad some goose forgot the circlip so we could test the tool!
by the way got the press up and running yesterday pressed the other case out out of the hub.
can any one confirm if i didn't have a press can I put the hub in the oven @ 170c for an hour so the new case will go in easy?

have tried using a punch to turn it around but no avail

I havent had a really rusty one to try it on, but it works great on ones that are really tight - eg the stock 157 lb-ft torque.
