Have not looked at them but they may be running windows7 or linix.
It must have the SSD not HHD. will look into it

i could be tempted to part with my eee PC 901, it has winxp a 4gig and 12gig ssd and a 16gig SDHC card ...

Yes have got a new one not the SSD but the toshiba NB200
1Gir Ram
160Gig Hard Drive
10" Screen
3 USB
SD card reader
all for $377 12 mths waranty
They say the sata drive will handle the movement better than a HHD Std drive so I guess time will tell.

Thanks to thoes that come along with offers but as they say you get what you pay for and with the waranty if it packs it in then I have 12 mths to find out.

Will let you know as soon as I have it set up running Mobile PC and N-route as to how it performs.

Should work well..... Are u going to have Wireless Internet as well with it?? Would be good to be able to have a look via google earth then be able to drive & track it as well
