i got Clark Rubber flairs 2" wide $14.00 per meter at Lawnton they are good cos they are very flexy so they just bend rather than breaking off

They do a 50mm rubber flare for $15 a metre. The Vit took a smidge under 5m of it to do all 4 guards.

The bunnings flares can look pretty damn good still if you take your time with it. As a bonus they are a damn side quicker to put on as the harder plastic requires far less screws then the rubber ones. I believe the 10m roll came in at $22 plus a few bucks for screws, so about 1/4 the price of the rubber stuff and enough to do 2 vehicles worth.

If you want to go for a sierra specific flare I just got some boss flares for mine. They're basically the old calmini flares but they flex. about 10x more expensive than clark rubber flare extenders but about half the price of bushwhackers. I've been running without them for 2 years no dramas but the cops pulled my missus up a couple of weeks back and said if they caught me driving it they'd give me a canary.

Hey guys just bought myself an 85 NT LWB.

The tyres are sticking out a bit (maybe around an inch). just wondering what is the best width to use for flares with Clarke Rubber.
and is there any particular way of putting them on or isit as simple as just screw onto wheel arch?

apologies if this question has been asked before, tried to research it but my searching skills aint too flash.

i used bunnings flares on my zook
used black edging 100mm and cut it down to 75mm once installed.(using snips)
installed it with rivets going through small washers to spread the load.
looks neat and is cheap.. perfect
can sand the edge or cut it before putting it on and mount the cut edge against the panel.. easy.
took an hour or so max

you guys are getting shafted on your rubber flares. ball got me 10 meters of
70mm rubber flare stuff for $76 including freight to Katherine. i have garden edging on my LWB(there when i bought it) and it is shit. really shit.

did you guys get rid of the existing suzuki flares first and then attach the edging on without putting the stoock flare back over it?
