Hey Guys,
Looking for someone who has or has access to machinery to make me some simple aluminum coil spacers for my GV?
I would need 2 x front spacers with an ID of 64mm an OD of 101mm and a thickness of 31mm.
And 2 x rear spacers with an ID of 55mm an OD of 98mm and a thickness of 63mm.
If anyone can help please PM me.
Cheers.

Well because i already have poly spacers and i want new spacers in a custom height.
They are designed to utilize the factory rubber isolators...
Alloy will not degrade or deform over time so will be the last spacers the truck needs.
And these measurements will net a lift of 2.5 inches.

isnt there a few machine shops up in the industrial area?
do they have recess for the spring to sit on/in
if its anything like my vit the bumpstop is tapered and will not retain the spring properly, and the radius/ chamfer needed to clear the radius where the bumpstop extension meets the spring seat.

There are a couple of local engineering firms but most do not stock appropriate materials for such jobs and are not that keen on this type of custom work.
You make a valid point about the retention of the of the rear springs....The fronts will be fine.
I may have to revise my rear spacer design...
The chamfer to clear the fillet/curve at the seat/bump stop tower junction is just a minute on the die grinder to get the proper fit!

Tim
I'm basically after 31mm front and 63mm rear spacers to provide approx 2.5 inches of lift...
I assume you are talking about the poly's you offer in custom sizes?

Upon further inspection of the rear spacer set up......The rear spacer described above will work fine with my current set-up because with a 63mm spacer the factory rubber isolator will not be around the original bump stop tower but will be around my custom bump stop extensions witch are a suitable diameter to properly locate the factory rubber isolator.

given the cost of that much solid alloy bar is going to be massive and the machine work to bore the hole down the middle will also be massive and spacers are essentially a cheap shit way to get lift why dont you save some money and talk to allsprings or king springs about making up a set of real springs to get the lift you want?

You probably have a point there Royce.
I would prefer to have a set of replacement springs for sure.
I have tried a couple of brands of aftermarket springs only to have very little lift and rock hard suspension..
The stock springs are very firm to start with especially the front..
So trying to find a spring with the right lift that does not make the ride harsher than standard is near impossible.
Thats why i went the spacer route because i can control my ride height without compromising the ride to much.
But if the cost is prohibitive i will have to look at maybe custom springs as you say.

Allsprings are pretty open to making whatever you want but you are going to have to do your homework on what spring rate you want and free heights and so on to design them

Well I'm not going to buy any springs of any brand until i can drive a car set-up to the lift height i want with a ride i like.
