Just fitted a 2" EFS lift kit, the guys at the shop said it might be wise to leave the front stabilizer bar off to allow more travel of the suspension, it turns out the bar won't fit back up anyway!. Should it go back on with some mods or leave it off? Seems to Drive ok?

Its ok to leave it off and it does give you more travel but it isnt the safest thing to do. Just keep it if your going to do a long highway trip just toss it on its only a few nuts.

my vitara has never had it connected while ive owned it also, even on highway

i put mine on for day to day driving and take it of for w/ends, it only
takes a couple of minutes. I find it makes mine handle a bit better and stops the lean to the drivers side that all sierra's get eventually.
It will fit with 2" suspension lift you are probably trying to put it on upside down. Mine has 2" rears up front with 2" shackles and mine still fits easy.

Not sure about legalities in WA but it's illegal to remove them in QLD. In saying that, they still come off pretty quick

its illegal in w.a. to , but in saying that a mates sierra just passed without it as we forgot to put it back on and they didnt notice

Thanks, definitely not putting it on upside down won't get much flex if it's under the spring. The EFS front springs have a leave spring retainer bracket that gets in the way so makes it almost impossible to fit the stabilizer bar. Maybe once the springs settle in it may be a little easier to retro fit back into the vehicle
