The comp Im entering at Easter states that window nets are needed. Just wondering if anyone else has them cause the ones Ive found online you need to weld tabs on your door frames which Im not keen on. Is there other styles then this

Just a thought..could you find a similar material and get some made up that slip over the window like one of those shade sock things. Being a comp I assume they would have to be up to an aussie standard/approved etc so it might kill my idea.

If its being run similar to CCDA regs then it requires the nets to be easily removable from both inside and out incase the vehicle rolls and the doors cant be opened

You should be able to make your own so long as they are to the specs you need which usually relates to the size of the holes in the netting.

I contacted the organiser and apparently you can use the ones that buckle to the top of the window frame and then cable tie the bottoms.'8O'

Zip tie to your window frames and remove the window rubber and zip tie through the holes.

Or maybe you get a wrist restraint which ids just a leg strap of a surfboard

on mine we used 2 car seat buckles as the release. i hose clamped the female end to the roll cage.
i then used rope to connect the net to the opposite roll bar and heat shrinked the knots to they looked permanent and would not undo.
works an absolute treat. and passed C.A.M.S.
if you want ill take a photo on Monday night when im at the car again.

window nets are cheap as chips (chips have gone up). if you car looks dodgy the the scrut guys will go right through your car. best to make it look neat.

Not sure exactly what Tzar was refering to but I will be using fishing netting and copying the design below which was good enough for Tuff Truck. Also nets over here are about $70 each as far as I am aware as oppose to under $50 for both. I also prefer the look of the fishing netting as opposed to severly restrictive view through the lattice type.
