i run 2 x maxxis 751 which is an at tyre
and have 3x Kelly Safari which is has a very similar patttern to the maxis. all 235/75/15
these tyres where on my original vitara which was bought almost 2 yrs ago, so dont ask me why i have 2 different tyres, as i dont know.
they have served me really well in rocky, sandy, clay conditions (havnt seen any mud). but i have found that they tend to want to drift on gravel, which ultimately caused me to loose my 1st vitara:(
next tyre will be the maxxis bighorn in either 235 or 30"

probably more suited to the larger 4x4 market. i have coopers stt on my hilux, i wouldnt put them on my zook. i would be more into buckshots or something similiar.

This threadneeds more pictures to go with the ongoing descriptions...
Stuck some offset 215's under the HT.. thinking may put replacement rubber on these rims rather than the stockers for now.. Both front and rear are worn 215x15, front on Effie offset, rear on 'factory'.. Not sure of spring rub atm with the effie rim, something I NEED to check**
Note to self*
the missus says White rims, I reckon black.. Whats the AZ in thread poll suggest..?

would you be happy with wear like this? i know i wouldn't.... these are on my cousins slow-lux
Brand new tyre. Never fitted to vehicle.
Drivers Front
Passenger Front
Passenger Rear
Drivers rear.
All done 28,800kms, Rotated every 10,000kms, 28psi road pressure (as recomended by the MT representative), Lowered accordingly offroad.

it's his 2nd set the first were 31's on 15's these are a metric 33" on 16's & they useless... 28,000kms is a joke.
there is talk about the wrong compound tyre (north american = cold weather) being imported due to the massive MT advertising scam that sucked everybody into wanting MTZ's
i've done 34,000kms on my 2nd set of MT/R's & went on at the same time & they are barely worn, fair enough the zook weights 1/2 as much as the No~lux! i was speaking to a bloke who's run the KM & KM2's back to back & i think i'll be running the KM2's next or go a super angry muddy & get some AT's to daily on...
