hey guys,
one casualty of the weekends wheeling was the ac seemed to stop working. it was blowing fine and cold on the way down there, and then after i went through the first large rut, it stopped. I have cleaned out the engine bay to see if that would help, but hasnt seemed to do anything... any ideas? i wouldnt have thought it was a gas issue, as it was working fine in the morning. not sure if the compressor is working, havent had a good look, but any guidance would be appreciated, as i dont really know what to look for

thanks guys

did ya flick anything up and puncture the condensor? well the compressor the main thing you can check yourself is with the engine running ensure that the clutch is kicking in on the front of the compressor

Firstly I would check the A/C fuse under the bonnet.when sitting in the car with the engine running you should be able to hear the compressor clutch click loudly as you turn on the A/C than hear the cooling fan start up if no click try the wire going to the compressor, is it connected? the 4wd fuse will affect the A/C also you'll find the green light won't be lit too. try that finnally with the engine off try spinning the compressor by hand (the centre part of the pully) it should be free to spin. if the gas has escaped the A/C module won't allow the compressor to start. check the fuses first and the comp clutch wire. most common problems in my Jimny history :)
Good Luck.
