i just got a narrow track drover high roof. i was considering these rims to widden it up. wats ya thoughts. have just done 2" shackel and fitted 4" over sized shocks. but befor i do anything else i want to make it more stabble.. tyres are next.. whats ya thoughts??

will be more stable......until the wheel bearings fall out! wheels like this also place a heap of leverage on king pins.

What are they worth? Maybe cheaper to fit WT diffs

Chances are your bearings will fail due to the seal getting chewed out in mud and dirt well before the extra load of those rims get to them.

You got that tin top from Cooroy hey... Nice clean car that one...

Wheels with big(ger than stock) offset will reduce wheelbearing and kingping bearing life but they are cheap enough to replace a bit more often.

I say save your wheel money and put WT diffs under it instead. You will eventually want bigger tyres and you'll need the spring clearance...

ive got those rims on f100 offset they look awsome i love them but go the wt diffs

i can get them sent to me door for aprox $500 AUD. cheap set of mags.. i been ringing around for a new set of sunnies with neg 20 offset but they rare.. them suckers from states are near neg 50mm

i looking for W/T diffs, but i got a set of hilux diffs in top nick sitting there. would love tp do some cutting and shutting. i just picked up a g16b as well. so as soon as me sheds finished the work will begin..

ill sell you a set of WT diffs! will be cheaper than $500. I thought you need a bundera rear diff because the pumpkin is off-center?

great condition, have spoa perches if you need them otherwise cut em off. Ill check to see if they are locked tonight.

The main advantage of WT axles isnt the width. Its the extra bonuses you get from that width.

ie: cromo CVS and more steering lock without scrubbing on springs.

wat ya mean taff? i trying to get more stability out of a wider wheel base? it just looks awkward with a high top. looks like it wants to lay over all the time. my wife works for Bundy motor group. i trying to get jeep flares to hide it all...

With WT axles the knuckle is further away from the spring.

They only make cromo CVs for WT axles.

For future reference wheelbase is the length between both axles. "Wheel track", is the width of the wheels as such.

think of the model vairents we(as sierra owners) use..

LENGTH=SWBase vs LWBase
WIDTH=NTrack vs WTrack
HEIGHT= unmentioned vs Hightop

my mistake. i work on cars every day. you'd think i would of picked up on wat i sayed.. anyway. thats wat im out to achive, cause at the moment the drover is taller then it is wide..
