Hi,
I have a 91 Sierra SJ70 softtop SWB, short of taking box out; what the spline count on front shaft would be?

There are 2 listings one for a 20 tooth spline and one they say is the heavy Duty box and it has 18 teeth. Does anyone knows for sure what it should be.

Don't think theat you can tell without taking the 'box out....

Don't know for sure;
but the box originally from my '91 Sierra, and the box I have in it now (think it was an '89 box), and the box in my Dads '91 Sierra have all been 20 spline.
