Open to suggestions, although have been told that the 1 litre is a better motor. If I have toI will rebuild it, but I know I at least need a new head for the old girl, and the block needs to be resleeved, any ideas??

A lot of pitting in the metal, looks like it has already been shaved at least once and not much more available to work with, have only had for a few months so not sure of the full history.

When I Pulled her down (after the big BANG) cylinder number three was laying in the sump in a lot of pieces, the only part of it left on the conrod was the very top of the cylinder head. Needless to say I need to get the block done nd the crank machined and now I have found out the head needs replacing. I think I will better off rebuilding, at least then I know everything is new and good to go.
