I can tell you now that you will need to do a lot of work to bolt it up to the Sierra gearbox...

I wouldn't have thought it would be harder than any other EFI conversion, but I don't see why you wouldn't just save a lot of hassle and go the tried and tested G16B...

All things suggest it is likely to be a bastard of a job but we need trail blazers like darren to just do it and tell us how it goes. Decent G16 engines are getting harder to find but the M series are only going to become more common.

You never know, if you have an M series Jimny gearbox and you read about Silo's M18 into Jimny conversion it could be alot less hassle than a straight g16 swap.

Yeah, I like the idea of one day putting an m18 from a Liana into my Jimny.

I reckon that thing would rocket! I justy wonder how the rest of the drive train would handle the extra power.

Is this going to be manual or auto? Manual will be easier.

Don't let Fatzook scare you off. He's just had a bad experience or something with 'm' series wiring, or his mum.

If you get the complete harness and key to the ignition, you are on the right track.

Many people have done the m13a into a sierra. Wiring can be a mess, but once you find out all information about it, it should be ok if your clue'y.
