hey i have serria sj80 with a 1.6 efi 16v efi vitara motor. i had the intake manafold off the other day. to get some measurements as i am making a high flow manafold as my zook is turboed . I put it back on with with old gasket with some gasket goo as it looked alright still. And a 2week wait for a new gasket as suzuki spare parts reckons. now it wants 2 idle a bit high could it be a vacume prob make it idle high or will vacume prob just make it idle rough cheers

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me or possibly just the acellerator cable over adjusted.

To check if it is a vac leak use some carby clean and spray around where the manifold meets the head, if it is leaking it will idle up while you spray where the leak is.

nar i cheecked the cable first thats all good its got a bit of slack. cheers anyways wants33

Carby clean makes it die, you're thinking of ether - rapid start, start ya bastard, etc
