Over Fueling

Hey guys I've just finished fitted a falcon alt and a thermo.
But now when its running it blows a tonne of white smoke.
It was running well before i fitted them.
Just wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this to happen.
Its a 1.3 seirra

white smoke is generaly oil mate

i always thought oil was blueish and fuel was white smoke.
Maybe thats why im still and apprentice

na fuel is black mate it took me a while to remember it aswell i just think of it as magnas always blow white smoke and they always have f%^&*d valve stem seals

Well i reconditioned the head late last year so i wouldnt think it was the valve stem seals.
But it hasnt been started since january so maybe abit leaked past.
I'll take it for a bit of a drive around tomorrow and see if it clears out

ok well it would also be condensation build up take it for a drive and c what happens

black smoke is fuel,
blue smoke is oil,
white smoke is water.

White smoke (in a diesel) is uncombusted fuel.

there isnt alot of difference between oil and water smoke/steam in my experience olny smell really

Yeah thats what i was thinking of.

Started it up today and blew no smoke, not even the usual black soot came out the exhaust.

Yeah, just before my 1977 Chrysler Lancer died (my first car, May she RIP) she started blowing white smoke and she lost a lot of power... Pulled her head off and one of the cooling ducts running through the engine had slowly corroded its way into one of the cylinders...

i was pumping a nice mixture of fuel, air and coolant into that cylinder... I was surprised she drove me the next 5km home...
