I have done the EL/EF 110A alternator upgrade and my battery light on my dash is not working when the ignition is on. I have tried swapping the two wires on the alt around and it still doesn’t work. if I earth one of those wires the light does work.
Any ideas? :?

with a test light.. what does the second wire have?
when you connect to one light the battery light should come on and the other will be a +.

if both these work then it is alternator

Just went and tried that, one has power and the other turns the battery light on. so maybe its the alternator
