does anyone know if the alloy front diffs out of the vitara fit into a sierra diff? or are the gears the same as a sierra? my brothers also after a efi 1.6 vitara engine to do a conversion if anyone knows of one complete with loom

Alloy vit front centre will bolt intop a Sierra front diff housing but why would you? Alloy is weak as piss.
Gearsets are interchangable but I believe you need a retainer kit..

you do know that the vitara rears are very different to the fronts & as far as i know they won't bolt into the sierra diffs.

I was told the same but that u will still to swap the side gears for the one that goes in the rear
