i no this is a long shot but does anyone have UHF with or without an aerial for a reasonable price?

drill some holes in the roof and mount radio use silastic i have a tin top tho

GME TX3340 if you own a Jimny - unit tucks under the dash and only the mic head is displayed.

Presitge Communications have very good prices.

mine was set up in my over head just infront/above my rear review miror and good spot as its up out of the way of the water and easily reached and veiwed


spends most of its time in the house tho as i dont like leaving it in the car to many sticking fingers around my way

Because I wanted it straight away, I got mine from JB HI. I walked in there with a print out of prestige communications price and they matched it.
Uniden UHF015sx with bonus 5db antenna, I added the external speaker.

seems a bit to viewable sitting the buzbox does it sit there 24/7 or just for when u go away on trips ??

The main unit is hidden but thats where it always live. Besides ontop of the dash I found that that's the next most convenient mounting spot in the Vit.

After a little incident, I always take out the mic when leaving it in someone elses care.

Basically when I left it at the mechanics, they were being smart arses to other users and stirring up shit with the truckies. As a result my signal was blocked. I never knew it was possible but luckily my brother has the same unit and knows the guy that most likely blocked me. After a bit of fiddeling around it was working again.
