In my travels as a Snappy dealer I have come accross a 100% complete Feroza. It was the shop owners sons car and its been sitting in the same spot for 6 years. It was there for a new fuel pump that was replaced but it never got its new rego so now its been collecting dust a since 2004. When I was there they put some fuel into it and jumped thhe battery and it started after a few cranks and ran perfectly. I think its a 1500efi. its a 5 speed box with the t-case boltedup to te box.
The complete car was offered to me for $500. To pass rego all it would need is some wiper blades, a few light bulbs and air in the tires

My questions are.

Should I get it and transplant the engine into a zook?

Has any one done this? How hard is it to retro fit the sierra box onto it?

What are the 1.5efi engines like? (anything is better then carby)

If I did it sould I keep the feroza trans and run twin transfers?

Or should I get it rego it put some A/T tures on it and let the mrs drive it and be my recovery car? I know they aren't any good off road but it could be a support car.

Or should I get it rego it and sell it?

Or forget about it?

i owned one before the sierra. Not a bad car but they have their limits when offroad. You need to push them pretty hard to get places but they will handle it for a while. Weak points apart from the IFS is the rest of the car. Build quality is better and stronger to a sierra but not even in the same league as a Vit.

Buy it and fix it up and sell it. still worth some decent money if the Kms are low. and with the money you make spend it on the zook to make it better.

my opinion is for the money you couldnt not get it.weather or not you rego it and sell it off and make a little,or replace the 94 beep or as you say do a conversion into the zook.

They are a 1600 16 valve from memory and a couple of mates have had them.My opinion was that they were great little dailys/mud runners which is all they done. They drove suprisingly well and i reckon they flew for what they are???Maybe they had good ones,i dunno. Its $500
