Steering wobble after glasshouse run

Heyyy all! So I'm at caloundra visiting a friend and we were bored so we decided to go up the glasshouse mountains for a 4x4, lucky my friends dad bought his twin locked frontera and was able to save me from the mud i got stuck in lol (pics coming)

anyways... left the national park and as soon as i get to about 50kph the steering wheel starts wobbling.. does it to about 80kph then dies away.. comes back at around 100kph.. dont really want to drive back to samford with it like this, anyone got any ideas what it could be? i did some pretty big hills and it got pretty bumpy at some places.. lots of mud and clay etc.. im thinking it might be one of the wheel balancers came off when i got pulled out?

you might be missing a wheel weight or even a hunk of mud stuck somewhere. i would be checking the wheel weight though

+ After playing in mud you'll more than likely have some wheel balance troubles until you clean it well

You've probably found it already but it'll just be mud in the rims. You may have to pull the wheels off to get it all out

or if you have smashed hard enough into the side of a rut you may have bent a steering arm, loosened a wheel bearing or maybe even bent a rim...But best chance is just a wheel out of balance

mate dw about it you can make it back to samford with a smashed front diff and steering wobble lost both front wheel weights was a um fun trip

yeahhhhhhh there was about 600g worth of mud on the inside of the front drivers side rim, and about 200g worth of mud on the passengerside rim... so yeh cleaned that all off and she was sweet

ALL GOOD!

Tombutt was that you that i saw tonight at the video ezy in the white zook?

yeh onl;y issue ive ever had with mud when i play in mud i just generally go into a fresh water creek that flows high enough to clean the rims out and gets mud out
