I'm fitting a roctoy ring but I can't seem to bolt the transfer arms to it as they hit the ring. What have other people done to overcome this? I was thinking of trimming the ring to suit.

If you don't have a BL, then I believe you will need to trim the top edge a bit.

The roctoy ring is a great starting point for a custom made mount, but it does need to be modified to suit your application.

I ended up buying a mighty kong instead, because I didn't have the means at the time to modify etc.

I've got a body lift fitted.

Currently, the transfer is out on the bench with the roctoy fitted. I also have the arms out on the bench but the won't bolt in as they hit the ring. (so nothing is in the car yet) I just want to make sure first before I cut it with the angle grinder.

if you are jsut bolting the stock mounting arms back on chuck the ring in the bin, its whole purpose in life is to weld bits to it to make a better mount

Try buying one direct from the US, I had mine delivered to my door for about $360 last time the dollar was high.

seeing as you already got the roctoy, why not re-inforce your arms and weld the roctoy to it. while your at it you could also incorporate a skid plate too. It's a bit of fab work though.
