just makeit out of mdf covered in marine carpet.. :D
better sound insulation and doesnt rattle.. easy to cut.. looks neat.

I got the ali because my car isnt a daily and i want to be able to put a sheet over the dash and hose everything out, even my seats get the high pressure spray after it last drowning :)

I use a band saw on Ali, it works wonders real clean cut. Made a few Aircraft Instrument panels this way.
