Has anyone fitted a second battery into the engine bay of a 97 V6 Vitara?
If so, How? Where did you fit it?
I have seen battery trays on ebay but the year model for V6 in the ad only goes up to 1994 by memory (which I thought was wrong), so when I asked the supplier about this they told me I'd need a tray for a GV which I didn't was right either?
I think the brake booster in my V6 is in a slightly higher spot that a 4cyl Vit and can't see where I would fit a 2nd battery. I don't want to take up valuable space in the rear.

my air compressor lives in that little gap near the brake booster... Mike did a neat under seat install in his 2.0 SWB due to the same problem with the compressor, i'll be doing the same very soon.

Thanks for the info Atari, that set up on Mike's looks like what I will be doing as well, and as you have done pu the compressor on the driver side in the only little bit space left
me and oda1 were actually looking at my engine bay yesterday and trying to work out where we could stick one and you could props put one where they do in the gv but the tray and battery it would fit woulnt be worth all the extra work. we came up with maybe in the foot well behind the drivers seat as with me driving you gotta be a midget to fit in there anyway
