just replaced the clutch and i am at the stage where the gear box has to go back on, because the crossmember is welded on how do you get it on. i got it off by taking the clutch assembly off whats the best way to get it on?

Mine was easy, just dropped it out and put it in. That was a Datsun Sunny though... What sort are you talking?

Poke the back end of the gearbox up onto the cross member first. Otherwise just pull the engine out

x2 if you have the transfer out it is even easier cos there is a heap more room.
