hey guys i got a old skool 1 ltr tin top sierra i bought for $400 and i just want to do a very very budget build to teach the missus to fourby in and have something i can put onto its side and not have to worry so far i have done spring over and 31's and am lookin at differant shocks just wondering will vt commadore shocks fit they are pin at top and eye at the bottom the zook is at a mates place and havent seen it in a while and i got some shocks for free aany help appreciated cheers

i have 100mm spring lift and use vs wagon rears on the front with no problems :wink:

yer was thinking hilux hopefully i can find some cheap ones gettin around do yu use hilux rears i might try to fit some patrol ones got some stockos wonder if theyll fit anyone ever tried it?

yeah as in the thread bucket put up

front shocks on sierra = rear commo wagon shocks = part no. Gabriel 81340

rear shocks on sierra = Front Hiace Shocks part no. Gabriel 81147

$45 each from super cheap when i got mine, then a week later they did shocky deals, pricks hahah

Commo Sedans are too long.

ke70 rears are too long also.

rang up supercheap auto and also repco today for these, apparently the part numbers don't match up on their system...

They've offered to do a little research and to see if they can find the parts, if they come up with another number i'll post it here. If anyone knows any more details or a different part number, we should get the guide amended.

They are softer than the wagon shocks though, and allow for epic downtravel

Witch shocks would be better with extended shackles and two in lifted springs

These shocks will still be enough.

As bluesuzy said, these will be fine. Most people use these as a cheap option to replace the factory shocks that top out with 2 inch lift.
