Car: 90' Sierra

My right headlight is only receiving 6v. (normally it should be 11v-12v) I've gone over all connections (unpluging, cleaning, repluging) but all seems fine. Even though the bulb was 100% I replaced it for good measure but to no avail. Fuses are all okay. I've spent 3 hours going over it and cannot for the life of me figure out what it could be. I'm thinking of taking it to an auto-lekky to share the pain. Any suggestions as to what it could be?

you wil find 2 fuses for the headlights..

one for the left and one for the right.. one of the fuses is blown.

Yes and actually pull these fuses out and check because they will test fine with a light even though 1 is blown. - draws current from otherside.

Two fuses

Are they both located in the fuse box in the drivers foot well?

(High beam dash lighht functions normally)

I noticed this before... Got an electrical engineering degree but its got me buggered too...

Another vote for the head light fuse. Had the same problem, one headlight would be bright for a second then go dim. One fuse was knackered, took me a little while to suss it out too!

Yup, it was a blown fuse. It had such a small crack that I missed it the first time. Thanks for everyones advice

Can someone please inform me where the fuses are located for the L/R headlights? I'm having all sorts of troubles. The passenger side parkers work, but no response from normal and high beam. Thanks in advance.

they are towards the top left side of the 2 rows

if you have no lights at all you could look at the dip switch too, specifically the earth from teh column
