sorry if this question has already been asked but just curious if 5m of fuel line would be enough for front and rear diff breathers to run up high under the bonnet? because i can get some for bout $15, also can anybody recommend what ID size hose to use as i have yet crawled under to measure, oh and future plans involve 2 inch bodylift so would need the hose left that extra bit longer to accommodate this.

12mm or 1/2' hose should cover it. 5m's of hose should be ok. You could use a supercrap fuel filter to stop shit getting in also

Do yourself a favour , fuel line """""""CANNOT""""""" handle oil for long , it will swell and close offfffff the pipe , buy some tansmission line to run your diff breathers , 5/16 or 8mm is large enough and as said use a filter on the end , the breather should be as high as the water you think you will drive through , engine bay usually works best , mount it in such a way to avoid body chafing on the hose , Cheers Paul.

cheers rusho and mart, and yeah i was planning on fittin those cheap fuel filters on, i will have a search for some transmission line tomorrow, is there much of price difference? and i was thinking on somehow mounting it to were the jack sits, certain ive seen it done there before somewhere, would this place be alright for body chafe on the hose? i dont plan on driving through real deep water or mud, but i just want to play it safe

I got ID 8mm / 5/16 a while back and it does not fit over the diff breather bit on the diff (WT Sierra).

I ended up getting the next size up whatever it was (can look tomorrow) which fitted easily over the bit then used a barb to go to the ID 8mm stuff. EDIT: What Rusho said. 12mm/ 1/2"

Was a bout $10 a meter from Enzed/Whatever the competitor name is i can't remember and 5m was enough from both diffs going to the engine bay.

oh ohk so you only use a lil bit of the nxt size up then use the barb on that to convert it back to ID 8mm??

Yep, Clamped the larger hose onto it, had 10-15cm of that then barbed into the smaller hose. The brass barbs were like $8-10 each, again from hose shop.

While your buying the hose , grab some 5/16 hose barbs , take yours as a sample , Cheers Paul.

cheers for all the info guys much appreciated, and um isnt a garden hose like 20m? and you used half of that? or did you do t-case and gbox aswell? how is the garden hose holding up heard they crack fairly quick??
