who knows weres to get the right size timing belt for a g13b twin cam
i got one from repco and it was to think to fit on the crank wheel

Did it fit the cam's??

Is it a hybrid or did you get the thing as one bit..(eng that is)

the belt they gave you would be a t171 which suits a g13b from 1989 on , what you need is a t891 which suits the pre 1989 "mk1" gti engine which has 20mm sprockets and not 25 mm like after 1989
