ok i have a 93 swb 5 speed vitara. I want to know what type of oil and how much?

90wt, and fill it until the oil comes back out the filler. I think it will be a couple of litres, but as you'll be buying the oil in 4lt bottles, you'll definitely have enough.

3.3 litres for the gearbox + transfercase- 70w/90

3.3 litres for the front & back diffs - 80w/90


an old suzuki mechanic told me to use castrol & morey's oil stabaliser

There's at least a litre in the transfer though, and a separate filler for that, so I'd guess 1.7-1.8 in the gearbox?

IMO you might as well do the Xfer while you're under there with the oil pump
