And if someone pops the hood, what are you gonna look at - the guy with an EFI install hidden under a plastic lump, or the guy with 4x ninja carbs bolted on the side? Different strokes for different folks, but I know where my eyes are heading.

i would look at the carbies......then i would say why did you go to the effort of delivering fuel to the engine in the most difficult way with 4 carbies?

Che went for a full gas conversion because he wanted something different.

I think Che is different to the rest of us and likes to make things a challenge for himself.

I like things simple and easy.

There was a great post on here somewhere to a link form a yank site with dyno runs of different carb setups. They compared stock to 32/36 weber and finally quad bike carbs. The quad over the stock and weber had a significant increase in performance and no this wasn't all top end gain. Graphs showed a large increase in torque from ~1200rpm all the way to redline. Individual carbs or EFI throttle bodies do away with the intake charge robbing and disturbed gas flows found in common intake manifolds.

what would show a lot would be mixture in each cylinder, anyone remember the twin throttle manifolds they made for excels that gave like 23% more power?

minis have a shit intake design and some manifolds make huge differences due to teh better distribution
