Hey Guys,

Time to upgrade my coily flares...I have been trying to chase down some bushwaker flares or STD Jeep flares,but I noticed these on ebay...

They state "Duraflares are PRACTICALLY UNBREAKABLE and SCRATCH RESISTANT."

They will cover a 34" tyre...

Anyone running them...?

As long as they are wide enough, they are probably the best flare available for sierras.

Hey ajsr! How wide are they overall? from say mounting surface to very outside edge? I've been looking at these they are similar to Piranha's ones but $300 cheaper I want the width to cover my 33"s but need the overall measurement before I buy 'em. Cheers Robb.

I belive they are same as the piranha ones, not 100% but fairly sure.
alans got no mark up on these sucker has he.
you can always cruise around and have a look if you need I'm no far from you.

I think I need to get rid of the rivets, and instal nutserts and the biggest headed bolts, or bolts with big arse washers, so that it decreases the chance of the rivets ripping the flares apart.

Anyway, they are still betterer than the stocko WT flares

They look to be nice flares, but they just dont look wide enough to cover the 31' tyres on 8" rims which a lot of us run.

That's an issue for sure. They're about 1-1.5" too narrow to be really useful.

This is with WT axles and 3.5" backspaced 7" rims. Tyres are 31 10.5. Obviously this is the "bad" side as it's the side the axle is offset towards.



GV rims and 9/34 swampers



Q78's on 15X7 rims, 3.5" BS but beadlocked (so an effective 7.5")



I'm running Doubleblack's TJ rears at the moment. They're wide enough to cover nearly anything, but they're not all that pretty. They're very flexible and are heavily reinforced at the mounting area.

They look (a bit) better than this, (this one was temporarily fitted for the photo only)



I think the supplied rivets aren't big enough and the flare pulls though them. I use nutserts and 6mm button head stainless capscrews and they don't pull through when they're leant on.

These new flares look great. They come in your choice of 4.75" wide or full 6" wide from top to bottom - enough to cover a 14" wide tire. The extra width of the flares can give you additional protection, Make things street legal again

Great flares but at $320 USD each thats way too steep!Plus frieght ....

i got mine off double black they cover my 31/10.5 15 on 7" rims nicely
