having bump stop extension does it help or does it just stop ya shocks hitting ..

bump stop extensions just stop your diff going up as far as the origanal bump stops. people do this to stop bigger tyres going up too far and hiting the gard or to run longer shocks so they dont bottom out :wink:

To an extent they can also help add leverage flex to the opposite wheel.

i would guess one wheel would stop going up and force the other wheel down

not a lot of going down on the other side once that side gets to all the way up

plus look at the leverage, 30cm one side of the fulcrum vs what 120cm on the other? that s pretty crap ratio

I said to 'an extent', I didnt say to any 'great extent' :wink:

And yes it would work alot better the further your bumpstops are inboarded.

just using the search button a old post on bump stops,,does anyone know where you can buy extended bump stops.and buy any chance what size are available.

Yep. Bring 'em inside the rails and you will get better leverage. I am doing this with mine when coiling it. :wink:
