Just ensure lights you are planning to use have the appropriate approval.

Whilst it might not be the most illegal thing about you car, it's silly to get a defect for using a marker light (or similar) as an indicator or stop/tail light.

Most of the LED autolamp lights are marked as to what position/ orientation they are legal in.

yeh too easy steve.thanks.i will only buy something approved and right for the job if not ill just make a new rear bar and use my existing sierra ones,something like bogfrogs zook is getting.

yeah lump a....... i like how timmy has his and bails lwb has them sunk in like that also but my rear corners are a bit squashed out of shape and wouldnt make it a easy job.
My main problem is i dunno if i want a tube bar,a rhs bar that looks like stock but can mount a swing away.So ill have to way it up,if i went tube rear id gain some clearance but would sink lights into doors then i cant run a spare carrier or make a stock looking stronger rear bar and mount lights in it,then i can run a swing away if i want and get some space back inside????

Mine were tricky, and very lucky. They were just the right size in the corners. Any bigger and it would of been an oh shit cover up nightmare.

The tray door was a cover up also, dented, twisted etc. Bent it back, welded in boxes. Cover with plate!
