I have a 16v head on a G16A block. Which timing belt kit do I get; the G16A or the G16B? Or are they one and the same?

Also, the gasket on the back of the block that sits behind a plate that's surrounds the rear main seal... what's this gasket called? Mine's leaking. (don't wanna take a pic, it's freezing outside!)

the g16a block and g16b block are essentially the same , they just have different ancillery bolt lugs on the blocks , they are both identical internally and in block height.
so if you are using the 16 valve head you use the kit with the t212 belt
8 valve head you use the t164 belt.

the plate is the rear main seal housing , so you need a rear main seal housing gasket , hard to think it would leak though

Yeah I had a good look at the gasket and it's definitely leaking. I'm also doing the rear main for good measure.
