Hi all, going to get rid of this g13ba once and forall and go EFI. Im sick of paying muching around with the stock carby, and not going to spend 700bucks plus on a new performance carb when i can go EFI. for just a little bit more than that.

Just seeing where you guys have found ur engines, and if u dont mind stating how much u paid, and if it was complete, and if not complete what other parts did u need to source separately.

Thanks alot
Jordan

4 door swifts came out with tb injection in the 1.6 16 valve.

stay away from the swift 1.6. it has a head prone to cracking and the conversion is more of a pain than a vit. but can be done.

Balenos have coil pack versions (so no distributor) and a jimny style inlet manifold. Water pipes are a major PITA, and the sump has to be modded to take the crank angle sensor, but it's a very clean conversion.

Very nice Steve.
Do you have any pics of your solution to the water pipe problem?

I've just picked up a '00 Baleno engine with 67K's from a wreckers in Melbourne, it should be here in Tas in a couple of days . :D
