Is a steering stabilizer necessary for a Vitara? Does anyone here run one?

I have seen tough dog ones on ebay and a Calmini one with a brace and just want to know what the go is with them? Calmini indicates that it helps when running larger tyres and some lift?

It suppose to help the steering feel better by helping control the rebound created by larger tyres.
Is it worth it? I dunno, in theory it makes sense and of course If it looks good, It must be good, Right?

I know that they make a difference with 4B's that don't have power steering and are a standard item, but I don't think it would make a huge difference on a vitara.
I have thought about getting one, but like you I don't think it'll be necessary.

Thanks for the info. Thats what I liked about the Calmini one was that you could mount the bash plate to the brace, but it could probably get a similar brace made up here and fit a bash plate to it.

the calmini brace/steering stabilzer will not fit the SV420's/SV620's due to the extra width in the chassis rails.... eddie at Fraud Wheel Drive U$A sold one to me telling me it would fit... if only he knew the product he sells
