I've had a few people ask me what ratios the diffs are from the Vitara that i'm wrecking. Problem is I have no idea what they are and I was hoping someone here could help me. The front diff is alloy, rear steel. Car is a 95 Vitara Estate, bog standard.

Cheers,
Jimmy

Someone will probably correct me but I'm pretty sure they should be 5.12's.

count the number of teeth on the big gear, divide by the number of teeth on the small gear, instant ratios :)

just to clarify for those uneducated among us (me included), does 10/12 bolt mean the number of bolts holding the two pieces of the housing together? if not what does it mean?
