Hi all,

so as you may have seen in a previous post i have a coolant leak somewhere.

at the time i didnt think it was too big and as i had no other car to take to work today i drove the ol girl in.

Anywho i get out of work at 5.30 and discover my car is swimming in its own coolant, FUCK!

anyway no dramas as luckely i work at repco. well i say no drama's i should say no dramas as i filled it up and drove her home as quick as possible.

now before i left after filling it up i orderd every hose thats listed on our system and will get all the small hose tomorrow (like the hose on the carby).

But on the drive home it got me thinking that maybe some of my reliability issues could have been due to poor coolant pressure/circulation etc.

would i be right in thinking it. as it has water choke too would a poor presure result in shit choke opperation?

I know this sounds like a dumb question for someone that works at a autoparts store. so feel free to taunt me, but you gotta learn somehow :P

thanks in advance
Jordan

(oh and did i mention i also orderd a new lifted suspension kit and some 15x8 rims =D=D=D)

Yes poor coolant flow/air locks in the choke (the highest point) will result in poor performance as the choke will be on too much/always.

I wont taunt you about the questions cause your going to tell me which repco you work at so I can get a super discount from you. :D

Low coolant levels/pressure can also cause higher temperatures @ the head than at the block, again another high spot. This will cause poor performance also and fuel economy.
