I have a 2009 Jimny and i just bought a new JVC head unit and the people that were going to install it say that they cant install it because there is no facier for the unit to fit my car?! What have you guys done with your jimnys head units? Anybody know where i can get one? Thanks guys!

i put a JVC stereo into my jimny no problem.

it is a double din sized thingo so i put a uhf underneath the stereo.

as long as the stereo is din sized you shouldnt have a problem.

The installers are obviously lazy or don't have the tools to make a nice finishing plate. It is of course different to anything else, but then a lot are right??? One can only conclude that they must refuse many installations on that basis!

A single DIN tray would also be easily accessible to any half decent installer

Well ended up having to go to A custom sound place and im going to have to get one custom made to fit, unless they can get one of the faciers they have found to fit it properly. To get custom made and installed 220 -> 250 buks!
