hey guys

as much as saving money sounds like fun, im pretty sure spending is the way to go. with the infinite wisdom of auszookers, where do you think this cash would be best spent?

thoughts so far have been either extractors and full exhaust, maybe a set of sunnys with that or 2 inch suspension and sunnys as i already have a set of 30inch muddies that would fit if i got a bigger set of wheels and the lift. i'd love a fibreglass top but damned if i can find one

ideas?

car currently has no roll bar, stock wheels, stock exhaust, stock most except front bar, race seats, UHF and spotties

your best bet would probably be the 2inch lift and sunnies.

I'd go with lift + wheels to fit the muddies as well.

next round would be a locker.

well thats what im thinking but i could really do with the exhaust. i know i could wait and pick stuff up for cheaper but damn its burning in my pocket and its starting to hurt my leg

coily 40mm lift for $590 springs and coils. leaves $400 for wheels. any experience with "blupac automotive"?

well if i go for the Ebay suspension i'll have around $400 left which would get me 5 sunnys for sure. pretty sure i know a place to get new ones for about $60 a rim but any other ideas for wheels?

depends how much on/off road time you do?

what type of offroad driving?

whats your budget for tyres?

already have a set of 30inch pirelli scorpion muddies with little tread but enough for the zook.

doing very little highway driving but its my daily driver so if i got pretty mags i'd consider swapping my current road tyres till i got something more decent but if just sunnies i'll put the muddies on and swap them over for 4x4 duties

sorry...i read it as you wanted tyres not wheels.

ask for what they have in 15x7 to suit f100's. that will give you a negative offset wheel, hence a wider track

maybe try these: f100 sunnies on gumtree

wire wheel on the grinder, lick of paint and you have $$ to spare

yeah 8's are probably a lil big for my needs. i do have $2000 up my sleeve but i really should save some of it... i keep telling myself this anyway

Definitely spend the first lot of money on the 40mm lift from ebay, makes it drive so much better on and off road for very little $$. Spend the next $200 on some wheels to fit your muddies and see if they clear, if not, spend the last $200 on a body lift from Just_cruzin.

Cheaper mods would also be $60 coil spacers from ebay and maybe a RTC steering damper $150. Few ideas anyway.. Could also spend a few hundred on materials and get your mate to weld up some bar work?

But yeh, go the lift kit first for sure. The fiberglass top is overrated too, great on-road and beach but as i found out today it comes VERY close to the trees/ground lol good thing its strong as!

have previously had a leafy with the fibreglass top, loved every minute of it.

wasn't really sure about those spacer things, looked kinda dodgy, anyone have any experience with them?

Suspension lift, new wheels.

Trust me, makes a HUGE difference compared to stock.
