ok so after driving my beloved soft top vitara around for a few months i am officially over the wind noise associated with it..

So i'm open to options.. Fiberglass top. Sell the car. Swap the car for a hard top vitara or sierra. Put a pencil in my ear drums..

I'd rather not do the last one if i can help it...

Good luck with the fibre glass top. They haven't been sold new in this country for 7+ years

And second hand ones of ANY condition are as rare as NSW winning Origin

I'm trying to find one also, and considered buying a complete vit to get one. But alas the buyer was asking $2K more than the POS was worth.

Calmini sell them new. $1000 USD plus $400 USD for seafreight or $800 USD for airfreight. 4-6 week wait on manufacture ( yeah right )

Still cheaper than what they were new in this country. (2500+ )

that two piece sports hard top looks strange. no good for me though, i often have a car full of people...

yeah im considering selling it before i do mods to is, and looking for a hard top, or maybe something completely different like a SWB pootroll or a bundera..

The top doesn't flap around if you remove it.

Seriously, it sounds like you'd be better off getting a different car.

i know, but i dont want a sierra cus i want something more comfortable, and i got this soft top vitara 4 a good price...... a found a hard top rear section and am gonna buy it, especially after my car getting broken in to last night (not happy jan)
