ok so i have springs in the front atm that give a lift of 30mm and i have spacers (10mm) to add to get it to a 50mm lift. Car is a 93 vit. I have OME struts. Issue is that when i go to 50mm, the camber will be out and the experts seem to want to charge around the $250 mark to put in camber pins.

Ive talked to a few people who say they didn't need camber adjustment.

What does everyone do when they lift more than 30mm and can i get away without paying someone $250 for this wheel alignment with a couple bolts? I dont want to go adding diff spacers and all that, i just want springs and shocks. If it gets too difficult i will stay at 30mm but prefer not to.

get an alignment and see what the camber is, if its off then go to pedders and buy camber pins for $50 or less, go home and fit then get another alignment, making sure the numpty behind the till knows you have camber pins and expect them to be adjusted as part of the price

Have a look on ebay someone said a while ago they got some camber pins for $15 a pair

thats a good idea. I think they are over $100 from pedders thou, if anyone knows where i can get them for a decent price please let me know. I could not find any on ebay.

So if i get the pins the front end will be fine to bring up, nothing else needed?

I paid less than $50 for mine from pedders but got trade and was a while ago, they were way cheaper than anyone else

Just ring em and pretend to be some workshop and tell em youll send somebody around to pick em up

nope, camber pins from pedders are more than 50 bucks for vits.

i still see a pair of bolts being charged $100 here which is waaaaaay overpriced. Regardless of what they do at the end of the day is a pair of bolts.
