Can some one tell me what 1/8" BSP poppet type breathers are.
Are they the size of a Jimny ?

Interested in these:Billet Breathers

would they fit straight on ?

Yeah I know there expensive, but I want to keep it neat.
Thanks.

no, youll need to tap yours to that thread

1/2" TP hose is pretty neat, and only about $20 for a cars worth, cant see the real need for a filter but you could stick something neat on the end and still be in front

You can buy those little nuematic filters (as seen in that kit) from RS Electronics... then get some fittings to attach them to hose from Enzed/Pirtek.

They are just pneumatic exhaust mufflers. Not filters.

I dont run any filters, just hose.

Get a couple of nitro RC car air filters from a hobby shop if you want neat filters.

I think the idea is just to have something on the end of the hose that will at least stop wasps, insects etc from getting in. on a standard breather the cap stops the insects

and if diff breather extensions were necessary they would be fitted from factory aswell.......... yeah right.

just cos suzuki didn't put it there doesn't mean it's not a good idea.

Post some pics up when you're done. I haven't done it myself, just thought of it when reading this topic.

GV's have good breathers up high in the engine bay from the factory
