which 02 sensor for my g16b, dissy model?? [93 vitara doner]. my wiring diagram clearly shows 4 wires, and the wiring loom also has 4. The problem is all the sellers are telling me its a 3wire sensor for a vitara. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?

The sellers are difficult to deal with if it is not on their wholesalers parts list it doesn't exist to them. I went to multiple car parts shops with an exact part number of my o2 sensor and they said it was the wrong part. After some hunting I found the exact part.

If there is a fourth wire it would be used. I doubt suzuki would waste money on extra wire if it is not used.

How many wire's come out of the sensor, don't worry about the plug cause you could run it through a trailer plug as long as it had a good connection..

The sensor, how many wire's come out of it??

the vit motor i bought did'nt come with a sensor, so i'm triing to determine what to purchase, ie, 1 wire ,2 wire ,3 wire or a 4 wire, sensor. some how the trailer plug bit went through to the boundry.

have a look at the sensor's, can you tell us the name of the manufacturer??

Mitsubishi, Denso?

As far as I know all the vit's are single wire, could be wrong tho, has happened before..

As for the trailer plug, the number of terminal's on a plug can have no relevance to the amount of wire's used on the sensor, even Ecu's have spare pin's out's...Hence the trailer plug..
