this is whats known as a needle in a hay stack :D

Can you just buy one and have it painted? The liners should all strip pout fairly easy.

where do I take it to get it painted? I want a nice finish if I didn't care I would just buy a can of spray paint but I want it looking pretty
would a panel beater be able to do it?

you have to get a helmet thats approved to be painted, if it doesnt mention it you can assume its not allowed

though there are pink open face about, I think M2R do them

Found a guy named antman at yatala that can respray and repair my helmet to make it look like new and put my name on it etc for about $700 and for in car helmets any helmet can be resprayed with approval or not apprently. He does it from his house so they're 'open' anytime which is handy

Have a look around some of the motorbike shops or even somewhere like the I think its called the motorcycle helmet warehouse, you should be able to find some of the different places that sell helmets through google. For $700 you can get a good helmet and some of the brands have some really good designs & colours.

Here is a few Australian sites that appears to do what you want

http://www.raceart.com.au/index.php

http://www.airbrush.com.au/bikes.shtml

http://www.antmanhelmetdesign.com/

http://www.ladesigns.com.au/

The first two websites didn't mention prices, but the last two both were somewhere in the range of $1300 - $1600... Good luck though.

Might be something you like in this list -

http://www.nextag.com/pink-open-face-mo ... ducts-html

And if you don't really need an open face one - this one looks pretty cool for a pink helmet

http://nmw.com.au/s1/index.php?page=sho ... &Itemid=71

Good luck

Hey Cindy, what is the need for the helmet - apart from the obvious. What racing do you do and where do you do it? Are you the Driver or Navi?

try ebay usa, as mentioned above most in the know comp organizers and andra events will not let u use a helmet with any paint on it and recently they must not only meet aus standards but asnz (or something like that) standards which is for New zealand as well. They also need a yearly sticker to say that the helmet is in good order for some events too.

Can't

They won't have the ADR approval stickers on the back.

Need it light with a little peak no visor coz I wear motorcross goggles for the dust no body checks helmets stickers or anything as long as the look desent there won't be any questions. They really stricted at my event, some people race in thongs or bare feet windscreen isn't necessary neither is a bonnett or racing seats as long as u have a roll cage and harnesses and third party insurance letter they'll let u race, buy they won't let u race without a licence even if it's just suspended how stupid is that!

But I like my life so I would like the safety equipment please.

Thanks guys for looking for helmets but I'm thinking might get it sraypainted when my truck is resprayed so they are the same colour.

Thanks anyway everyone
