* if you are doing a repair always use primer over the repair !!
* painting metallic ?? always wet rub the car with a fine grade abbrassive like 800 wet and dry (but obviously wet)
* prepsol the surface before you paint it, it gets rid of all the shit from your fingers and use a lint free towell to do it as it will collect loose dust etc
* make sure u do the little parts that fold under the guards cuz otherwise it will look stupid.
* to make stickytape stick... give the area a quick clean and prepsol.
* if its shiny. its not ready to paint. if its an even dull sort of texture. go for it.
* the way your job looks will more reflect on the prepwork than anything else so make sure its good.
* when your painting MOVE YOUR BODY !!, dont think that you have to stand in one spot like a robot.
* for large areas eg. roof, bonnet. paint them half at a time.
* make sure you always have even air pressure and its not going up and down.
