would u be able to use a control arm for a rear trac bar? and mount the other end on a shackle?

a control arm with only a single pivoting point at each end (with a spring shackle at one end?) wouldn't work, it was just allow the diff to twist where ever it wanted too?
i'm sure the americans have some kind of expensive track bar painted yellow available

I think he might mean fron control arm, like yours has
though a single pointed arm would work, but would need to be away fromt eh centreline to get leverage
