Just wondering if anyone has made their own extended shackles? I was thinking about having a go at making a set.

It's not too hard, but often they don't really help much, and can make your ride worse.
I am no expert, but basically a 2 inch shackle extension will yield about 1 inch of lift. Longer springs are helpful too, as your shackle angle will change, suiting a longer spring a bit better.
I say go for it!!!

A 'H' pattern shackle with a bit of 25x25 welded in the middle. Now I just run 50x10 flat bar with nothing in the middle very easy to make and really cheap
