went 4x4ing on sunday and when we got back to the main road the sierra was spluttering and dying, stopped and took the petrol cap off and it had a fairly big vacuum in it... drove about 10kms more and it happened again... and again and again.

so is there a petrol tank breather line somewhere? or what else would cause this? can i just put a little hole in the little white air tank thing connected to the filler neck?
