I see a lot of zooks running TJ flares do you just use the standar front for front rear for rear? How wide are they?

hey man i i got some on my zook and i think there 4 inch wide i could be wrong they cover 31s well it takes a bit of work to get them fitted right its a bit fiddly but use as many lock nuts as u can less self tappers and yes just standed front and rear

clark rubber sell 2 widths of rubber flares... 50mm and (i think) 75mm... im using 50mm on mine and it more than covers the tyres:

I'm using the good old garden edging

Takes a short while to get it right - pull off the original flares, cut off the bottom centimeter or two that hang down, put the garden edging on on top of the metal guard, put the original flares (with U nuts on them) back down on top of the garden edging, then put a decent screw from the bottom of the metal guard through the garden edging into the U nuts on the original flares (and if you want it to look pretty, put a little sicaflex between the garden edging and the original flare to close the gap.)

Cost me $40 for 10 meters of garden edging, and a pair of tin snips cuts it quite well, really strong and a bit flexible, but if i break it its cheap as and quick as to fix it - just pull the old one off, use it as a template on the new edging, and put the new one back on

They are tougher than that but will crack/split if squeezed against a bank hard enough....(Has to be the whole weight of the car)
Mine have copped a heap of abuse and I've split two fronts but they only cost $10 each versus $100 each.....
I rolled mine again on the weekend and the flares are still good...

Personally I think the square jeep flares look like arse on a sierra. But thats just my opinion.

Having said that, the bushwacker jeep flares I do like on sierras.

not completely unbreakable. Ive wrecked one, I slid the whole car on it along a bank, it was still on the car but pretty fucked up.

Hi Fatzook.

Which size bushwackers do you have on the sierra in your avatar?
Looking at the Bushwacker website it appears they come in 4&3/4" and 6"

Did you put 4 TJ rears on the sierra? or 2 fronts & 2 rears.

Having taken a look at the standard flares on my coily - they extend about 3 - 3&1/2" from the body. So based on the look of it, I am going to assume the sierra in Fatzooks avatar has 4&3/4" Bushwackers

These might be a bit cheaper, they're a British design for the LR Defender, require a "Bit of trimming". No idea what the postage might be.

And if Defender flares can fit, then THESE might suit your stlye better.
