Hey guys.
Kinda new to the Suzuki market after being a "must drive a Nissan Patrol" person all my life. Although now I am sorry i never got into the zooks earlier.
Just wondering if i can get get some advice from your experiences. I am buying a 96 model coily and am hoping to turn it into a menace. Not too worried about money at this stage. Want to get some bigger tyres, in the 33" league, maybe some custom suspension like a 5 link front and an "A" frame rear or similar, engine and gearbox as well as transfer case and drive line mods to really get it moving. Already has a rear ARB locker (thats another story altogether) but will also mount a front ARB locker. Do any of you know where i can source this kind of work from?
I live in townsville but can send the car to Brisbane if nescessary otherwise I dont have a problem with doing work myself if there are kits available. I also wonder if there is a crawler gears kit available for this moddel as I am lead to believe that they have a chain driven transfer case?
Thanks in advance
Pete.

if you already have the 96 sierra, i think i'd try sell the diffs and get wide track or narrow track diffs if you want to keep standard diffs. but if you want to go 33s you might want to get bigger diffs like hilux or cruisers, but then you'd go 35s, and extend the wheelbase etc etc. Get a widetrack transfer case too, more common for parts/spares etc etc.

wow eh, sounds like you've got lots of work ahead

like Steve said, basiclly your paying a premium for the grill and dash cause youll be ripping it all out, front coily diffs suck (no lockers) suspension sucks (arms tear off and snap) and transfers suck (chain drive)

so seeing everything that makes a coily a coily will need redoing may as well save 5k and get a good NT and attack it :)

In Townsville I would reccomend Kwarie (spelling) motors, they do a hilux diff conversion for the zooks and I bought mine off a former employee who praised there work.
